Assured Information Technology (AIT) Engineering is based in Orlando, FL and is a Veteran-owned Small Business that provides Information Assurance (IA), Information Technology (IT), Networking, Database, and Software Development solutions to the Federal Government, DoD, and Commercial companies. After working with many large DoD contractors and Government organizations, we recognized a tremendous need for IA solutions that focused on implementing policy-compliant that provide the best customer value. We specialize in developing strategies and implementation plans to efficiently achieve maximum IA compliance with minimum resources.

Information assurance (IA) is the practice of assuring information and managing risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data and the systems and processes used for those purposes.

Security engineering is a specialized field of engineering that focuses on the security aspects in the design of systems that need to be able to deal robustly with possible sources of disruption, ranging from natural disasters to malicious acts.

Jason Eddy, CISSP, MBA

As founder and President of Assured Information Technology (AIT) Engineering, Jason Eddy has established the company as a premier solutions provider in the Federal Government and commercial industry sectors.  Mr. Eddy has expanded AIT’s IA-focused product line to include a wide variety of engineering services, complex systems integration, innovative solutions and specialized unique customer challenges. Mr. Eddy’s successful track record, long-term vision, expert hands-on experience, and strategic partnerships have earned him the reputation as one of the most respected Information Assurance engineers in the nation.

Throughout his career, Mr. Eddy has held a vast array of leadership positions across the Department of Defense and within the commercial sector. During his career as an Air Force officer, he held many roles at multiple operational bases and staff agencies across the country. Most recently he held the role of Chief of the Air Force Policy and Compliance Branch where he developed Air Force Security policies and ensured Air Force systems were in compliance with all USAF, DoD, and Commercial security requirements. Among these systems were the $400M Battle Management System (TBMCS), $300M Missile Defense System (CCIC2S), and was hand-picked to lead the security evaluation for the most complex system in the US Air Force (AOC WS).

Since separating from the Air Force and joining the commercial sector, he has held several key roles within the Simulation and Training communities. Most recently among these roles was the Information Assurance Group Manager for Lockheed Martin Global Training and Logistics (LM GTL) where he led and managed the Information Assurance (IA) Engineering group for the entire LM GTL Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for security engineering staffing, resource planning, and execution for all of LM GTL which included over 700 programs and annual revenues of over $2B.

Mr. Eddy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Florida, a Masters of Business Administration from Touro University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
